Episode 031: September 28-29 (Days 7-8)

Sun gets Michael to help him with Jin, and Locke helps Charlie find his guitar and kick his drug habit.  The tail section does its best Rocky impression by trying to chase down a chicken.  We get another mobisode with Artz trying to get everyone to stay away from the caves, we see a split in the Losties, with those that have moved to the caves, and those that chose to stay on the beach.  Charlie continues to struggle with his habit, and Sayid tries to triangulate the position of the distress signal, but is sabotaged by someone and knocked unconscious.  Jack gets trapped after there is a rockslide in the caves, and Charlie ends up getting him out.  We close out the episode with Charlie taking his stash of heroin and throwing it into the fire.  The episode runs 44:17 and is 362MB to download.  You can stream below (via Facebook), or go here to use torrents (better quality, recommended) to download the episodes to your computer.

  1. I thought you where just gonna stop this with the plane crash, though actaully it will be interesting see all the flash forwards in order.

  2. No way, we're doing the entire series! Granted, most of the on island stuff is still pretty straight forward, but it will move a little more quickly without any flashbacks, plus there is still quite a bit of stuff that was shown to us out of order (The Tail Section, Michael being captured by the Others, any of the Others stuff before Season 3, the mobisodes, etc.), so I think there's enough there to keep it interesting.

And I do think watching the flash forwards in order will be cool, as we basically had to piece together those three years ourselves, so this might provide a clearer picture.

  3. I haven't really seen most of S1 & 2 since they first aired so it's hard for me to remember what is/isn't out of order, aside from the flashbacks. BTW this is still Ferg, just a different account in case I was confusing you.

  4. In this episode, there's a deleted scene called "Where Did You Go?" It's really cool and shows what might be the smoke monster masquerading as Jack. You can only find it on a CD-ROM disc included with an old TV Guide magazine, or on the Blu-Ray set of the Complete First Series.

  5. I know you probably didn't do it on purpose (maybe you did, if so, props to you), but all of the pre-crash content perfectly fits into a first season time, being 23-26 episodes (depending on how you would split the crash (I probably would at ep 25))

    1. I did not do that on purpose, but it's good to know! :)

    2. you've done an amazing job dude, like... this is easily the most thorough, well done, and massive fan edit of anything that I've ever seen. Including the Despecialized Star Wars trilogy, the hobbit edit, and pretty much anything else.
      you are legend.
