Episode 029: September 25-27, 2004 (Days 4-6)

Time for another mobisode, this time Jack meets Ethan, and helps him round up some of the medicine.  Bit of a creepy encounter in the grand scheme of things, but I would expect nothing less from Ethan Rom.  Interesting, however, hearing him tell Jack that his wife died in childbirth, because while he's obviously lying about who he is, it's entirely possible that his wife was one of the many women that died on the island trying to have a baby.  The Losties have a boar problem, and Sayid is working on building an antenna in the hopes of making contact with someone off the island.  Everyone's running out of food, so Locke takes the initiative and offers up his expertise on hunting boar in one of the cooler Locke scenes in the show.  We see Rose again, and learn that she's lost her husband, and is waiting for him to come back to her.  The tail section buries another body, as their struggles to survive continue.  Locke encounters the Smoke Monster face-to-face for the first time, in what we know now to be a very significant encounter.  A memorial is held for those that died in the crash, and the fuselage is burned to keep predators away.  One of the survivors drowns in the ocean, and Jack keeps seeing visions of someone.  He chases one of those visions into the jungle, and the episode ends with with Jack coming face-to-face with what appears to be his father.  The episode runs 48:46 and is 406MB to download.  You can stream below (via Facebook), or go here to use torrents (better quality, recommended) to download the episodes to your computer.

  1. In this episode, we have a deleted scene called "It's for Vincent" from the Season 1 Blu-Ray set. I'll post it on YouTube later.
