Episode 018: 2002

We continue in 2002, with Eko starting a new life as a priest, Yemi's replacement.  However, he kills a few of the local criminals, and ultimately leaves to go to the UK to study in the priesthood.  We get our first "Missing Pieces" mobisode, featuring Jack and Christian before Jack's wedding.  I will say that I'm not much of a fan of the mobisodes.  There are a few good episodes, so I guess overall they're worth it, but there are several that I feel like are pretty awful.  And the way it was filmed is different from the rest of the show, like they filmed it with a camcorder or something.  Anyways, we go through Jack's wedding to Sarah, then get to Kate's wedding.  Next, we see Sawyer in prison, and Juliet being confronted by Goodwin's wife about her affair.  And to close things out, we see our "first" timeflash that occurred right after Ben turned the wheel and moved the island.
The episode runs 44:26 and is 357MB to download.  You can stream below (via Facebook), or go here to use torrents (better quality, recommended) to download the episodes to your computer.

  1. Shouldn't Hurley winning the lottery first be before this if he's on tv?

  6. ok so I haven't watched all of these in full so maybe I sneezed and missed it, but shouldn't Locke seeing Yemi's plane be right at the start of this one?

I don't mean to nitpick tho, this is a fantastic job you're doing.

  7. Who does Harper think Juliet looks like? I don't think that was ever answered.

  8. @NamesnotAnnie - You're probably right, looking at the episode now I'm not sure how they got placed so far apart. I might try and go back and fix that. But if I were to try and give a complete BS explanation as to its placement, I'll say that we know the island has weird time properties compared to the rest of the world, so there was a significant temporal distortion that caused them to appear on the island long after they took off from Africa. There. :)

@David Matthew - No, it wasn't ever answered. However, I think a couple of likely possibilities might be her mother (not much of a resemblance) or her childhood friend Annie (we never actually saw what she looked like as an adult).

  9. Hey Mike, should the first mobisode be set after christian arrives? We see him give jack the watch, and in the next scene Sarah tells Jack "Hey, he'll come", then we see him arrive and sit poolside with jack.

    keep up the good work.

  10. @towerswillfall - Yep, you're probably right. I assumed that scene took place before the rehearsal dinner, and not the day of the wedding, but I had missed that line by Sarah. I'll have to get that switched around.
