The beach camp learns that Faraday and Charlotte have disappeared, and Juliet learns that they've headed off to the Tempest. Jack and Juliet head off into the jungle after them. Ben's mind games continues as he calls out Locke and his lack of a plan on what to do. Juliet and Jack head through the jungle and stumble across Kate, who was knocked out after running into Faraday and Charlotte. Locke lets Ben out of his room in the basement, and Ben shows him a video tape of Charles Widmore, and tells him it's his freighter off the coast of the island. Jack and Juliet arrive at the Tempest, and Juliet goes in to stop them, as they have the ability to kill everyone on the island from that station. They convince Juliet that they are simply trying to deactivate the system and save everyone. The survivors on the beach are starting to learn that Faraday and Charlotte are maybe not there to save them as they first thought. Sun and Jin try to leave the beach camp to get away from them, but Juliet warns them that Sun needs to get off the island or she will die. Sun won't listen, so Juliet tells Jin about Sun's affair to get her to stay. Jin goes off to think about what he's been told, but they make up and it's all good. On the freighter, Sayid and Desmond meet with the captain, where they learn that the engines on the boat have been sabotaged, as well as confirmation from the captain that the boat belongs to Charles Widmore. The doctor shows Sayid and Desmond where they'll be staying on the freighter, and while doing so, they discover that Michael is working on the boat under the alias of Kevin Johnson.
