Episode 046: November 6-7, 2004 (Days 46 to 47)

Hurley's struggling with his task of figuring out what to do with all the food in the hatch, and brings Rose in to check it out.  Meanwhile, Claire finds the bottle of notes that the people on the raft took with them washed up on shore.  Sayid and Jack try and figure out the source of the apparent magnetism, but that section of the hatch is blocked off, and Sayid comments that it looks like Chernobyl.  Ana Lucia lets Sawyer out of the pit, and starts to exert her "leadership" on him.  She takes them back to where they're staying, in the Arrow Dharma Station.  Claire and Shannon tell Sun about the bottle.  Hurley can't handle dealing with all the food, so he decides he wants to blow it up.  On a side note, Hurley's rant was interspersed with the flashback scene when the press learns he won the lottery, which is why the video fades to black a couple times.  There's also the sound of flashbulbs going on in the background at one point, but there wasn't much I could do about that.  Rose talks Hurley out of blowing up the food, and Hurley decides the best way to deal with the food is to just hand it out to everyone.  Back in the Arrow, Michael and Sawyer meet Bernard, and tell him that his wife Rose is still alive.  The next morning, Sun can't find her wedding ring, and Ana Lucia has decided that they're all going to head back to the beach where Michael, Sawyer and Jin came from.  While they split up to get food, Michael takes off to go look for Walt.  Eko and Jin go out to find him.  As they are running after him, they come across Goodwin's body.  Sun continues to try and find her ring.  Jin & Eko find one of Michael's footprints, but Eko hears someone coming, and the episode ends with the Others walking through the jungle, with the two kids from the tail section trailing behind.  The episode runs 47:21 and is 391MB to download.  You can stream below (via Facebook), or go here to use torrents (better quality, recommended) to download the episodes to your computer.

  1. The scenes with Hurley's dialogue that overlaps onto the flashbacks: I think you could have left the video instead of just using a black screen and justified it as a brief memory.
