Episode 035: October 13-15 (Days 22-24)

Shannon appears in a bikini for the 2,058th straight episode, and Sayid tries to recruit her to help him translate the French on the map he took from Rousseau.  Kate continues to try and take the briefcase from Sawyer.  Rose goes all Good Will Hunting on Charlie and tells him Claire being taken is not his fault.  Jack and Kate dig up the US Marshal's grave to get the key to the briefcase so that they can open it since there are guns in there.  Ana Lucia continues to keep Nathan in the pit, trying to get information from him.  Goodwin lets him out, then kills him by snapping his neck.  People are starting to ask questions about Locke & Boone constantly going out into the jungle to hunt, then coming back empty-handed.  The tail section discovers that Nathan is missing, and they break camp and find somewhere else to go.  Sun begins working on her garden, while Locke & Boone continue to try and figure out how to open the hatch.  Locke knocks Boone out, and gives him something causes him to have a hallucination.  Nikki gets Dr. Arzt to help suggest other places on the island where their luggage might have landed, and while Nikki & Paolo wander through the jungle, they come across the Nigerian plane, as well as the hatch to the Pearl Station.  Kate discovers that Sun can speak English, and we close out the episode on a humorous note with Hurley getting stung by an urchin, and then trying to get Jin to pee on his leg to prevent infection.  The episode runs 47:17 and is 387MB to download.  You can stream below (via Facebook), or go here to use torrents (better quality, recommended) to download the episodes to your computer.

  1. lol! That was a really awkward (but funny) place to end the episode. Maybe you should have ended it one or two scenes earlier. :P

  2. I thought the ending was funny, not awkward. And quite the cliffhanger. Will Jin pee on Hurley? Will Hurley get gangrene? Will Jack have to amputate his foot? I can't wait to find out the next thing that happens, which has been really cool about this project: What's next is next.

    Keep it up.

  3. Perhaps, in a strange twist of fate - Hurley will pee on himself? Who knows...

  4. This ending made me laugh real hard! That's the great thing about this. Even though you've seen season 1 a thousand times, it is very straightforward, but it now has interesting places to end the episode on. Last episode had a weak cliffhanger (Sawyer won't give the case to Kate), but this one was hilarious.

  5. I will concur that the previous episode's cliffhanger was weak, it was just one of those situations where there wasn't much interesting going on at all, so I just had to pick a good place to end it. There's Kate, always going and ruining a good thing.

  6. I think Nikki and Paulo were exploring the jungle a little earlier than in this episode. Paulo says as they're approaching the plane that they should have gone to Ethan rather than Dr. Artz.

  7. If that's the case than it's just a continuity error on the part of the writers. During "Exposé", each Nikki & Paulo flashback is accompanied by a specific Day, so we know exactly when each scene occurred (I just edited out the days for this version).

  8. @Rekubot Maybe Nikki and Paulo didn't hear about Ethan kidnapping Claire and Charlie yet. They lived on the beach, so maybe word hadn't traveled outside of the cave camp yet.
