With us only being days away from the series finale of LOST, I thought I'd post an update on how everything is progressing. Basically most of the heavy lifting is done. Aside from the final episode, and figuring out where the flash sideways goes, everything is pretty much in order, and ready to be cut up into episodes and uploaded. I suppose there is always the off chance that we get some flashbacks in the finale, but I'm not expecting any.
As far as the logistics of distribution are concerned, I think I have a site that will allow me to upload episodes for viewing, and may also allow you to download the episodes (I still need to verify the quality of said downloads). I will be putting these onto torrents as well, however it will probably be in groups of episodes, not individually. I do not know yet what the release schedule will be for these; ultimately I would just like to get these out to everyone as soon as possible, and then you can watch them at whatever pace you'd like instead of having to wait around for me. However, ultimately it's just going to depend on how quickly I can get these turned around and uploaded.
Anyways, that's it, just a brief post on where this is at. I would recommend checking back here in the days following the finale, as I would expect to see the first episode released sometime around then! If you think you'll have trouble remembering to check the site, feel free to subscribe to this blog's RSS feed, or you can follow me on Twitter (@chronoLOST) for the latest site updates and episode releases.

This is an AWESOME project, one that my LOST watching friends and I would love to see. We talked about doing it ourselves but we have zero editing skills as a group so I was glad to stumble upon this site.
ReplyDeleteLuckily the finale makes putting all the flash sideways in one clump at the end a pretty easily choice.
